Placement terms

Last updated August 2026. What you can expect from me, and what I expect from you. Nothing here is buried in small print.

1. Applying

There is no fee to apply and no obligation on either side. Submitting an application does not reserve a puppy and does not guarantee a placement. Puppies are placed at my discretion, and I decline applications regularly — usually on timing rather than on the family.

2. Price

Girls are $800 and boys are $600. That is the full price of the puppy. It does not change with colour, markings, or how much interest a puppy attracts. Travel is quoted separately and you will see the actual cost in writing before anything is booked.

3. The reservation fee

A $200 reservation fee holds your puppy. It is refundable in full if you change your mind at any point before your puppy travels — no deadline, no restocking charge, no conditions.

While it is held it pays for the final veterinary examination, vaccination and microchip records, the health certificate and any export paperwork, and an airline-approved travel crate. If you withdraw, I absorb that cost rather than passing it to you.

4. Nothing moves without your say-so

No flight is booked, no transporter is arranged and no balance is taken until you have seen the plan in writing and confirmed it. If you want to pause, we pause. If you want your own vet to review the health record first, we wait for your vet.

5. Balance and payment

The balance is settled once your puppy has passed the final health check and before travel is booked.

6. Health

Every puppy leaves with a full veterinary examination completed within days of travel, age-appropriate vaccinations and worming, a microchip registered in your name, and the complete written record.

A puppy who is not ready does not travel, whatever the plan said. If that delays your collection, I will tell you as soon as I know and you may withdraw with a full refund.

7. What I ask of you

  • Answer the application honestly — particularly on hours alone and other pets. I am matching, not judging.
  • Register with a vet and have your puppy seen within a few days of arrival.
  • Never rehome or sell a puppy from here privately. If your circumstances change, contact me first — I will always take a dog back rather than see them passed on.

8. Travel

International placements are governed by your country's import rules, not by mine. Some require a rabies titre test and a waiting period that can add months. I will tell you honestly, before you reserve, whether the timing you want is possible.

9. Photographs

Photographs of your puppy are only published here with your permission, and removed on request at any time. Write to hello@emmarodgerspomeranians.com.

10. Questions

Ask before you reserve, not after. hello@emmarodgerspomeranians.com — answered within 24–48 hours, by me.
