Privacy notice
Last updated August 2026. Plain English, because you should not need a lawyer to find out what happens to your address.
The short version
This website has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Nothing is loaded from a third party while you read it — the fonts and every photograph are served from this site. If you never submit the application form, no information about you is collected at all.
What the application form collects
If you choose to apply for a puppy, the form asks for:
- Your name, email address and telephone number
- Your full delivery address — needed to quote travel and prepare export paperwork
- Information about your household: home type, whether you own or rent, adults, children, other pets, hours the puppy would be alone, your experience with dogs and whether you have a vet
- Which puppy you are interested in and when you hope to bring one home
- Anything you write in the free-text message
You give all of it voluntarily. You do not have to apply to browse this website, and you can leave any optional field blank.
Why it is collected
To answer your enquiry, to decide whether a particular puppy suits your household, and — if you go ahead — to arrange travel and complete the veterinary and export documents your country requires. Under UK and EU data protection law the lawful basis is your consent, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Who sees it
Emma Rodgers reads every application personally. Submissions are delivered by Formspree, a form-handling service that passes the message to our inbox and stores a copy on its servers. Their privacy policy governs that copy.
If you reserve a puppy, the details needed for travel — your name, address and telephone number — are shared with the veterinary practice issuing the health certificate and with the airline or transporter carrying your puppy. Nothing more than that, and never to anyone else.
Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or used for marketing by anyone else.
How long it is kept
Applications that do not lead to a placement are deleted within twelve months. Records for completed placements are kept for the lifetime of the dog, so that the microchip registration, health record and pedigree can be traced if you or a future vet ever need them.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for a copy of what is held about you, for a correction, or for it to be deleted entirely. Write to hello@emmarodgerspomeranians.com and it will be done within thirty days, free of charge. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Please do not send passport scans, bank details or payment card numbers through the application form — it is not built for that, and nobody here will ever ask you to.
Children
This site is not directed at children and applications are accepted only from adults aged eighteen or over.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
